The stock valve on the N55 is prone to failure – the plastic often cracks, causing the valve to stop functioning altogether. 

This Forge valve unit is engineered with a piston, eliminating the diaphragm entirely. Additionally, the Valve is all aluminum – this is the solution to any failures associated with the OEM valve, making your N55 significantly more reliable. This unit retains the OEM ECU controlled valve actuation as well. Includes a plug and play harness that works with the OEM harness.

Turner Motorsport advises being cautious when removing the OEM recirculating valve; if the plastic is cracked, pieces could fall into the turbo upon removal causing serious damage.
