Anyone that has mounted an aftermarket wheel is familiar with the typical drawbacks, the biggest one being aftermarket steering hubs. In order to mount a different steering wheel, a hub adapter must be used. Until now, these hubs were bulky and long often completely destroying cockpit ergonomics and making driving uncomfortable. If this isn’t enough, the mortality rate in the event of a crash goes up exponentially as the chances of a cranial/facial impact on the steering wheel are almost certain at this distance. 

NRG Innovation has developed another complement to its quick release steering kits. These units were designed specially so that an aftermarket steering wheel installed with the quick release kit still mounts in the same location, not too close to the driver. Made from the highest quality aluminum, these short hubs are made to work with NRG quick release’s. This product is designed utilizing one piece solid construction for the maxim in durability and usability.
