Many BMWs, especially older models, feature pinch welds where the floor pan meets the rocker. These run from wheel-well-to-wheel-well and are an especially appealing jacking location with one shortfall – jacking on an unprotected pinch weld will frequently cause an unsightly bent and damaged weld. This damage is a quick to rust spot, being located on the lowest point of the vehicle and no longer being covered by protective ecoat, paint, or undercoat.

This Schwaben Pinch Weld Protector is designed to fit between any floor jack cradle and bottom of vehicle. It features a specially designed slot to straddle pinch welds, keeping jack from crushing or bending the pinch weld. The bottom side of protector is designed to fit any jack as well as the Schwaben (T#363164) aluminum jack stands. 

Extruded and designed in USA. Pad is 3″ wide & 1″ tall.
